Glamorgan 2nd XI defeated Nottinghamshire 2nd XI by 92 runs in their Second Eleven Trophy match at Cardiff CC with Will Bragg, Stewart Walters and Tom Lancefield all posting half-centuries, whilst John Glover took 3/27.

Glamorgan made 266/6 from 40 overs having been given a great start thanks to an opening stand of 138 in 22.4 overs by Stewart Walters (55) and Will Bragg (75). Despite the clatter of three wickets in quick succession, Tom Lancefield maintained the impetus with a brisk half-century before John Glover took two early wickets as the visitor's slumped to 33/3 in reply in the ninth over.

The accurate Glamorgan attack maintained the pressure on Nottinghamshire with Alex Jones Jones and Andrew Salter each claiming two wickets, before Glover returned to claim the final wicket and finish with figures of 3/27 as the visitors were dismissed for 174 in the 39th over.
