The Glamorgan Cricket Ticket Office has been inundated with calls today as demand for tickets for the final three games of the tournament reaches new heights. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets via icc-cricket.com where possible.

The first two fixtures at Cardiff Wales Stadium have been very successful and extremely entertaining with a fantastic atmosphere for the sell-out tournament opener India versus South Africa, followed by a classic encounter between Sri Lanka and New Zealand yesterday, where the Blackcaps triumphed by 1 wicket in front of noisy crowd.

A crowd of 10,000 is expected for Friday's clash West Indies versus South Africa as Chris Gayle returns to town. West Indies may have won one game already but this is a must win encounter for both teams, as every game counts in this fast paced competition.

Further tickets have been released for the England versus New Zealand clash on Sunday, however there are fewer than 500 remaining for the match and there are less than 4,000 remaining for the Semi-Final on June 20th - so both games are expected to sell out within a few days.

Simon White, Glamorgan Cricket Commercial Director said, "We had a number of people looking to purchase tickets for the first game in Cardiff when they realised the tournament was underway. The match was sold out so they left disappointed.

"Following two highly entertaining games and with warm weather forecast for the end of the week, the Ticket booth at the Stadium has been flat out fielding telephone calls and personal callers to the venue this morning. Supporters are reminded that as well as buying tickets from the venue you can also buy online at www.icc-cricket.com or call 0844 249 2013.

"Act now if you don't want to miss out on the day."
