Families, students and people of all ages are welcome to visit the FREE Choose Co-operative Festival taking place on the weekend of 29-30 June at the SWALEC Stadium.
This free exhibition is a fun opportunity to learn more about the co-operative sector who's businesses are local, loved and trusted. Sample co-operative and fair-trade food and drink, meet co-operative businesses and buy co-operative produce from food to clothing.
The Co-operative Group's kitchen is an opportunity to see some fantastic cookery demonstrations and tastings; and there will be games and activities to keep your little ones entertained, along with music from local folk and jazz bands.
Co-operatives are a fairer way to do business and whilst at the event you can learn more about the history of the movement at film screenings and workshops and see a glimpse of the co-operative future with a trend for community owned shops, pubs and even sports clubs.
