Glamorgan travel to Taunton for their next match in the Yorkshire Bank40 with the Welsh county meeting Somerset in a match scheduled to start on Sunday, June 2nd at 1.45pm.

Somerset are currently in second place in the group table after victories over the Unicorns by eight wickets, Yorkshire by 131 runs and Middlesex by six wickets. However, last Sunday they were defeated by six wickets at Grace Road after Leicestershire successfully chased a total of 324.

Glamorgan are currently in fourth spot in the Group C table having also beaten Yorkshire and Middlesex. However, their contest at the SWALEC Stadium against the Unicorns was washed out, whilst on May 19th they were defeated by Gloucestershire by seven runs in a high-scoring encounter at the Cardiff ground.

The West Country side won by three wickets in their List A match against Glamorgan last summer at Taunton - a game which saw Chris Cooke score an unbeaten 137, before a quick-fire 81 from just 43 balls by Peter Trego gave the home side the launch-pad they needed as they completed victory with thirteen balls to spare.

Glamorgan's last victory in a List A match on Somerset soil was in May 2008 when they won at Taunton by 19 runs, with David Hemp scoring 95, whilst Alex Wharf and Jamie Dalrymple each claimed three wickets as the Welsh county won with nineteen balls to spare
