The Glamorgan Cricket Ticket Office continues to receive high demand for tickets for the final three tournament games in Cardiff, in particular, nearly 3,000 tickets have been sold for the Cardiff semi-final in the last 48 hours

A crowd of 10,000 is expected for Friday's fixture, West Indies versus South Africa, which is in effect a straight knock out contest, with the winner joining India in the semi-finals.

Despite missing the first two games, Dale Steyn came through a net session in Cardiff yesterday and looks like to line up for South Africa against Chris Gayle and his West Indies teammates.

The ICC has now released all available tickets for Sunday's decisive England versus New Zealand clash, which will determine the semi-final line-up.

With two wins out of two in the group stage so far, India are clear favourites to top Group B and would therefore play their semi-final at the Cardiff Wales Stadium on Thursday 20th June. Tickets for both the semi-final and England match are expected to sell out before the day of each game.

Ticket Sales Update
• West Indies v South Africa - Tickets on general sale, 10,000 crowd expected
• England v New Zealand - Fewer than 400 tickets remain, sell out expected
• Semi Final - Just over 2,000 tickets remain, sell out expected.

Simon White, Glamorgan Cricket Commercial Director said, "We had a number of South Wales cricket fans looking to purchase tickets for the first game in Cardiff, India v South Africa, when they realised the tournament was underway; the match was sold out and they left disappointed, so we do encourage supporters act now.

"Following two highly entertaining games, the Ticket Office has been flat out fielding ticket calls. Supporters are reminded that as well as buying tickets from the venue you can also buy online at www.icc-cricket.com or call 0844 249 2013."

The first two fixtures at Cardiff Wales Stadium have been very successful and extremely entertaining with a fantastic atmosphere for the sell-out tournament opener India versus South Africa. Twenty three Welsh cricket clubs accepted the opportunity to attend the classic encounter between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, where the Blackcaps triumphed by 1 wicket in front of noisy crowd and a free ticket initiative in partnership with ICC's CSR partner ThinkWise will mean over 1,000 local school children will see Friday's game free of charge.
