Glamorgan travel to Leicestershire for their next match in the LV=County Championship with the Welsh county meeting the East Midlands side in a four-day contest which is scheduled to start at the Grace Road ground in Leicester at 11am on Tuesday, May 21st.

Leicestershire - who are currently one point below Glamorgan in eighth place in the Division Two table - have been victorious on the last two occasions the sides have met each other at Grace Road. Last year's victory for the home side followed a remarkable performance by Robbie Joseph with the former Kent seam bowler claiming a twelve-wicket match haul on his Leicestershire debut.

Glamorgan will therefore be looking to return to winning ways at the Leicester ground where in May 2010 they recorded an astonishing victory, and all after conceding a first innings deficit of 53 runs. Yet within 24 hours of being dismissed in their first innings, Glamorgan's seam bowlers had dismissed Leicestershire for just 71 with both James Harris and David Harrison taking four wickets in a masterly display of new ball bowling. Openers Gareth Rees and Mark Cosgrove then bludgeoned 198 runs inside 34 overs with the Australian left-hander scoring an unbeaten 113 as Glamorgan romped to a ten-wicket victory - their first Championship win on Leicestershire soil since 1986.

Ahead of the game Club Captain Mark Wallace said,

"We've been playing some really good cricket in the County Championship so looking ahead to Leicester this week it's a case of going through our processes and doing what we've been doing.

"The fact that we've come out the wrong end of a couple of results sometimes can knock you off what you've been doing well. We've been bowling really well and there's some signs in the batting that some players are coming back into form, hopefully me being one of them.

"So we've lost the last couple but we're in a positon in both formats that we're playing good cricket so we'll go to Leicester with confidence and we'll take it as it comes against them.

"We'll see how the lads bear up there's been a fair bit of cricket played but I can't envisage there been a great deal of changes the guys have been playing very well so it's a competitive place at the moment with some of the guys we're having to leave out are really good cricketers and that just shows where we are going as a squad."
