The final day of Glamorgan's Second Eleven Championship match against Leicestershire at Hinckley Town was washed out after overnight rain in the East Midlands.

Yesterday, the home side were invited to bat first and they soon slipped to 24/3 as Glamorgan's new ball bowlers made inroads. The recovery was then led by Sunny Patel who with the support of Ben Raine, saw Leicestershire past the 200-mark being being trapped l.b.w. by Dan Lewis-Williams who finished with the excellent figures of 4/43, whilst Alex Jones also took 2/32.

After the home side had declared on 261/9, Glamorgan had eleven overs to negotiate, during which they lost Gareth Rees who was caught in the slips against Anthony Ireland, as the Welsh county ended the day on 20/1.
