Following is a range of information from Kent CCC which will make your visit to the St Lawrence Ground easy to organise and enjoyable.
Ticketing
Prices:
1. Ground Entry, pre-buy £12.00 Days 1 - 3. After 9pm the previous day (and on the gates) £15. Day 4 - £5. Ground entry allows seating in the uncovered seats and on the banks.
2. Special promotion for Over 50's Day One. Courtesy of our match day partner for this match, Saga, all over 50's receive free entry to Day One. Simply order your ticket/s online (click here) or fill out the form on the day. No limit on the number of tickets that can be ordered.
3. Woolley Stand, pre-buy £17 Days 1 - 3. After 9pm the previous day (and on the gates) £20. Day 4 - £5.
4. Juniors (5 years - 15 years, pre-buy £5 Days 1 - 3 After 9pm the previous day (and on the gates) £8. Day 4 free.
5. Match Tickets - for all four days - Ground entry £36, Woolley Stand £45 - can only be purchased on the phone, pre-buy only.

Directions by car
From the North
From M20 junction 7 turn left onto A249.
At M2 junction 5 (Sittingbourne) bear right onto M2. At junction 7 (Boughton Street) turn right on to A2. Follow this to junction with A2050, turn left. Follow yellow signs to cricket ground.
From the South:
From M20 junction 13 bear right onto A20. Follow this road to junction with A260. Bear left and continue to junction with A2 (north). Continue to junction with A2050 and then proceed as north.

Stagecoach East Kent
Buses to/from Folkestone via the Elham Valley (route 17) and Hythe (route 18) serve the bus stops immediately outside the Cricket Ground on Old Dover Road.
Buses to/from Deal (route 12), Dover (route 15), and Folkestone via Hawkinge (route 16/16A) all serve the bus stops on New Dover Road (a short walk down St. Lawrence Road opposite the ground).
There are frequent buses direct to Canterbury City Centre from the bus stop on New Dover Road adjacent St. Lawrence Road.

Car Parking
There are three formal car parking options for visitors to St Lawrence Ground Canterbury:
1. Park & Ride, Old Dover Rd, Canterbury. Situated approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk from the ground or short bus ride. If you catch the Hospital Park & Ride bus, it will drop you outside the Nackington Gate entrance. The return bus can be caught from the same point. Cost £3.00. This service runs from 7am - 7.00pm (last hospital bus 6.50pm), Monday - Saturday.
2. Simon Langton Girls Grammar School, Old Dover Rd, Canterbury. Situated in the next 'block' on Old Dover Rd, driving away from the town centre, the school supplies a limited number of car parks on days during the school term. For Weekend and evening games this number increases dramatically. Entry to St Lawrence Ground is via a pathway onto Nackington Rd and directly into the Club's entrance. Approximately 3 - 5 minute walk. There is a dedicated 'golf cart' operating to help disabled and mobility challenged visitors, whom also have designated parking spaces. Spaces are sold for £10 fee per day, on a first come, first served basis (no pre-booking allowed) subject to weather and availability. The School opens for car parking from 9.45am and has a period in the afternoon, when school is closing, when exiting is limited.
3. St Lawrence Ground, Old Dover Rd, Canterbury. On match day there are a limited number of one off car parks available, approximately 100 per day. These are sold on a 'first come, first serviced' basis at £15.00 per day. There are a limited number of dedicated blue badge, disabled car parks included in this.
Street parking is also available in the various main and side streets

Food and Beverage options, plus Alcohol Policy
You are welcome to enjoy our surroundings on the banks or seats, with your own picnic, sandwiches and beverages. You can also bring in your own chairs or use any of the 20 picnic tables supplied.
For Championship matches limited quantities of alcohol are allowed into the ground - one bottle of wine or four cans of beer, per person.
Public options to purchase Food & Beverage include:
1. Cornwallis Room - situated on the 1st Floor of the Colin Cowdrey Conference Centre. Offers carvery meals/hot dishes, with one or two course options. Cost £12.50 for two courses, £9.95 for one. Serves lunch from 12.30pm - 2.00pm. It also operates a public bar throughout the day.
2. Jonesy's Kitchen - within the Les Ames Stand. Primarily a public bar but also offers a limited range of sandwiches and snacks.

Timing - Gates Opening and Hours of Play
Following is the day's playing schedule, with key times indicated, The match is scheduled for 96 overs per day:
10..00am Ground Opens
10.30am Coin toss with the Captains (day 1)
11.00am First session begins
1.00pm Lunch break
1.40pm Second session begins
3.40pm Second session ends at 3.40pm provided 32 overs or less remain to be played. Play will continue to this point. Tea break
4.00pm Final session begins
6.00pm Scheduled close of play. Match will continue until 96 overs (or
equivalent) have been bowled.
