Glamorgan welcome Gloucestershire to the SWALEC Stadium for their next match in the Yorkshire Bank40 with the contest at the Cardiff ground scheduled to start on Sunday, May 19th at 1.45pm.
Glamorgan remain unbeaten in the 40-overs competition this season following victories over the Yorkshire Vikings at Colwyn Bay and the Middlesex Panthers at Lord's, plus last Sunday's washout against the Unicorns. In contrast, Gloucestershire have beaten the Unicorns by nine wickets, lost to the Leicestershire Foxes by 115 runs and had their match against the Middlesex Panthers abandoned as a result of rain last weekend at Bristol.The Welsh county were victorious in May 2011 when they met their West Country neighbours in a List A game at the SWALEC Stadium with a half century from Gareth Rees seeing Glamorgan to victory by four wickets.
Gloucestershire's last victory at the Cardiff ground in a List A game came in May 2008 when they were victorious in a day-night encounter with both Craig Spearman and Chris Taylor posting fifties as the West Country side won by six wickets.
