Three former Glamorgan players - Dan Cherry, Ian Thomas and Andrew Davies - will be the next speakers in the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket, as they take part in "Life After Cricket" on Wednesday, December 4th (starting at 7.30pm) as the trio of ex-professional cricketers talk about their new careers.

All three were on Glamorgan's playing staff during the early 2000s when the Club tasted success in one-day cricket, with a Lord's final, two National League titles and an appearance at Twenty20 Finals Day. Indeed, during 2004 Ian Thomas became the first, and still the only, Glamorgan cricketer to score a century in the 20-overs competition. In 2005 Dan Cherry scored a superb 226 against Middlesex at Southgate - a score which still stands as the highest by an uncapped batsman for Glamorgan - whilst Andrew Davies also played a major role in the Welsh county's success in winning the one-day titles in 2002 and 2004.

Ten years on, the career path of all three has taken a different course, and "Life After Cricket" will see Ian talking about his work, initially with the ECB and now with the PCA, as a Personal Development Manager, advising the current crop of county cricketers. Besides reflecting with Ian on these successful seasons with Glamorgan, Dan will also speak about his new responsibilities as Stadium Manager at the SWALEC Stadium, whilst Andrew will also be talking about his new career in the financial sector.

With the help of some special video footage about the various PCA schemes, "Life After Cricket" will therefore give a unique insight into the advice and mentoring which county cricketers now receive off-the-field, besides giving Glamorgan supporters a chance to catch up with these three former players, with the event taking place from 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 4th in the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket situated on the first floor of the National Cricket Centre at Glamorgan's headquarters at the SWALEC Stadium. The Museum itself will also be open from 6.45pm with complimentary tea and coffee available for those attending the event.

Tickets for this event cost £4 if purchased before the day of the talk, or £5 on December 4th. Tickets can be obtained from the Reception in the Really Welsh Pavilion during normal office hours on weekdays. Please enquire about parking when you purchase your ticket
