The 1,000th person to purchase Glamorgan Annual membership for 2014, Dr Alexandra Murray, has received a free upgrade to Premier Membership for 2014 after renewing her membership with the Welsh county for the new season.
The early bird renewal phase of the membership drive ends on Saturday 30 November and although the majority of Glamorgan members have already signed up for the new campaign, either as annual, premier or country members, there is still time to do so either online or by calling the ticket office no 02920 419 311. Membership can be purchased in person at Reception or over the phone on Saturday 30th November by calling 02920 409380.
Glamorgan celebrated the Club's 125th anniversary during 2013, so from now on, until the start of the 2014 season, every 126th person to purchase Annual membership for 2014 will get a free upgrade to Premier Membership for the new campaign. The benefits of which include access to a pitch facing lounge for all formats of cricket, as well as complimentary tea, coffee, scorecards and magazine.
Season 2014 will see a new team management structure at the Club, with Welshmen Hugh Morris and Toby Radford returning to Wales to lead the side, Hugh as Glamorgan Chief Executive and Director of Cricket and Toby as Glamorgan Head Coach.
There is a new season structure in place as well, following the Morgan Review, a process led by Glamorgan's President David Morgan during his time with ECB. The programme of fixtures for 2014 were released this week with Glamorgan playing regular Friday night T20 matches, Sunday starts for the four-day County Championship are regular and the advent of the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup replaces 40-over cricket.
