Jim Allenby's 85 this afternoon against Gloucestershire in the LV=County Championship match at the SWALEC Stadium took his seasonal aggregate in all forms of cricket past the 2,000 mark this summer.
Jim has now made 1,202 runs in first-class cricket, plus 454 runs in the YB40 competition and 355 runs in the Twenty20 competition to give him a seasonal aggregate of 2,011 runs, and still with one possible innings remaining in the game against Gloucestershire.
The last Glamorgan batsman to aggregate over 2,000 runs in all forms of cricket in a season was Alviro Petersen in 2011.
