The Notts Outlaws will be Glamorgan's opponents in the Yorkshire Bank 40 final at Lord's on Saturday, September 21st and tickets are selling fast for the game at the home of cricket, with strong ticket sales in the last week following confirmation of the finalists
Glamorgan progressed to the final defeating Hampshire Royals on their own patch at the Ageas Bowl by 31-runs, whilst Notts Outlaws overpowered Somerset at Trent Bridge winning by 8 wickets. The Welsh county have been to Lord's twice before for a showpiece one-day final, but they were on the losing side on both occasions, losing to Middlesex in the Gillette Cup in September 1977, whilst in June 2000 they were beaten by Gloucestershire in the final of the Benson and Hedges Cup.
Since tickets went on sale this week, first to members, now on general public sale, the Club has already sold out 13 coaches to go to London and have now set-up a partnership with Creigiau Travel for supporters wishing to go to the Final, priced £20 return. To book call Creigiau Travel on 02920 890220
Match tickets are available from Lord's priced from £25 for adults or from £5 for children. Alternatively, if you wish to sit with other Glamorgan fans, the Club has been allocated the Compton Stand. Tickets are priced £40 for Upper Tier and £30 for the front of Lower Tier or £25 for back of Lower Tier, with child tickets £5.
The Ticket booth at the SWALEC Stadium is open from 9am to 6pm, with the exception of Friday 13th September, as the venue prepares to host the NatWest Series One-Day International this weekend to complete two fantastic weekends for Welsh cricket. Tickets are also available for the England versus Australia clash, as Kevin Pietersen and co aim to maintain England's unbeaten run in the Welsh capital.
