Stephen Hedges is nearing the end of his epic walk around the 'Boundary of Wales' in memory of his father, the former Glamorgan batsman Bernard Hedges, who died earlier this year.

Stephen's walk - around the coast and along the length of Offa's Dyke - is raising money for junior cricket development in Wales through the Chance to Shine programme, administered by Cricket Wales.

He has been visiting cricket clubs en route, and meeting some interesting characters, and even celebrities on his gruelling 1,000-mile trek.

Stephen tells the fascinating story in his blog http://theboundaryofwales.wordpress.com/ which is well worth visiting for regular updates.

He hopes to meet up with some of the Glamorgan team when he visits the SWALEC Stadium on August 22nd, and aims to complete the journey with afternoon tea at Mumbles CC on Bank Holiday Monday.
