Glamorgan CCC has today confirmed its schedule of pre-season fixtures during March as the playing staff prepare for the start of the 2015 first-class season on Thursday, April 2nd when the Welsh county meet the students from Cardiff MCCU in a three-day fixture at the SWALEC Stadium.
The pre-season programme will begin with Glamorgan meeting Gloucestershire in a two-day friendly at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th in what will be the Welsh county's earliest-ever competitive game in the U.K.
The two sides will also meet each other at Bristol in a one-day contest on Thursday, March 19th, before Glamorgan head to Taunton to play Somerset in another two-day contest on Monday, March 23rd and Tuesday, March 24th. The programme of pre-season games ends back at the SWALEC Stadium on Thursday, March 26th with Glamorgan meeting Cardiff MCCU in a one-day friendly.
The starting times and format of these "warm-up" games will be confirmed in early March. It is free entry for all to each match,
