Glamorgan's Easter holiday coaching camp hosted indoors at the National Cricket Centre at The SSE SWALEC provided the ideal practice for aspiring junior cricketers.
Youngsters took part in a range of skills and drills sessions to help them practise their skills and keep them fit during the holidays. It was a softball camp, but the older kids were rewarded with hard ball activities at the end of the third day.
"It's always very fun coaching the little ones and because they love cricket so much, it makes it so much better, " said Lucy Johnson, who coached the under 9's group.
"We've had morning only sessions this Easter, but in the summer we do full days so that gets very interesting because we have to keep them focused. We make sure we play a lot of games so they are having fun and stay engaged" she added.
Jak who attended the camp said he enjoyed the "continuous cricket" and when asked who his favourite cricketer was, without hesitation said "AB De Villiers."
Edward Smart, the Community Cricket Development Officer at the NCC said: "They have been playing games amongst themselves and hopefully having a bit of fun.
"Most of the children have been listening and they have hopefully taken something on board and learned some new skills."
The three day, Easter holiday coaching camp held for boys and girls aged 6-13 proved a success with almost 100 children attending.
