After their comprehensive victory over Worcestershire in the LV=County Championship at Cardiff, Glamorgan's cricketers will head to North Wales for their next three contests, starting with a one-day friendly on Sunday, April 28th against a North Wales Premier League XI at Mochdre CC (start time - 2pm)

Following the game at Mochdre CC, Glamorgan will be meeting Lancashire in their next Championship contest which takes place at Colwyn Bay between May 1st and 4th, followed by their opening game in the Yorkshire Bank40 against the Yorkshire Vikings at the Rhos-on-Sea ground on Sunday, May 5th.

With further one-day games in early May, Glamorgan will use the contest at Mochdre as a warm-up game ahead of their limited-overs programme which will see the team of 2013 wearing similar kit to the Welsh county's team twenty years ago which lifted the Sunday League title. The memorable victory over Kent at Canterbury in 1993 has gone down in the Club's folklore as one of the great day's in their illustrious history, but what is often forgotten is that during the summer of '93, Glamorgan played one-day games on eight different grounds - Sophia Gardens, Swansea, Colwyn Bay, Neath, Pentyrch, Llanelli, Ebbw Vale and Christ College, Brecon - with the latter hosting their one-day friendly against Zimbabwe, whilst the other seven all staged matches in the AXA Equity and Law League.

It is therefore very fitting that Glamorgan should commence their 2013 schedule with a match on the club ground, situated a couple of miles south of Llandudno, and against the cream of talent from the North Wales Premier League.

Please note that no ball-by-ball scores will be available for this match, but there will be updates on @GlamCricket on twitter, as well as a full match report plus online scorecard after the game has been completed.
