There is still time to take part in a special competition called Crofty's Challenge giving supporters a chance to speculate on who the legendary all-rounder might choose to play alongside him if he were to select his greatest Glamorgan one-day team since he made his debut for the Welsh county back in 1989.
As Robert says, "as we celebrate the Club's 125th anniversary, there is no better time for you to also contemplate the make-up of this dream team, chosen from some of the greatest names from the recent history of Glamorgan CCC, as I give you the opportunity of trying to guess who I would choose in my side for a fantasy 40-overs match staged under the floodlights of the SWALEC Stadium."
For those who guess correctly, you have the chance to win some great prizes, with funds raised by the competition going towards the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket. Entry forms can be obtained either by:
• writing to Crofty's Challenge, Glamorgan CCC, SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff, CF11 9XR
• sending an email to museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk
• collecting an entry form from Reception at the SWALEC Stadium during normal office hours on weekdays.
Each entry costs £2 per team (with cheques made payable to Glamorgan CCC) and the closing date is September 2nd, 2013. You can post your entries to Crofty's Challenge, Glamorgan CCC, SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff, CF11 9XR or hand them in to Reception at the SWALEC Stadium during normal office hours on weekdays.
Crofty's Challenge XI will be announced on September 3rd - the opening day of Glamorgan's LVCC match against Kent at the SWALEC Stadium.
