Mid summer night's cricket

To take advantage of the school summer holidays, Glamorgan are hosting a mid-summer family day on Wednesday 14th August as the team hosts Middlesex in the Yorkshire Bank 40 (4.40pm scheduled start of play).

When purchased in advance adults can get two tickets for £5 and with juniors going free, families can head to the SWALEC Stadium for an action packed evening of entertainment.

Following the success of the last family fun day in May, Glamorgan are repeating the event for the crucial YB40 game as they aim to maintain their push for a place in the Lord's final.

There will be lots of fun activities with a bouncy castle, face painting, bungee run, and Boulders climbing wall for young supporters to enjoy.

The team mascot Dewi the Dragon will be joining in the fun, while the Glamorgan players will be on hand to sign autographs.

Forty-over cricket provides a great way to sit back and spend a mid-summer evening, ideal for families to watch the cricket together or for newcomers to the sport to see their first match live.
