Stewart Walters, who is captaining Glamorgan 2nd XI, top-scored with 94 as his side were dismissed for 306 on the second day of their Second Eleven Championship match against Lancashire at Stanley Park in Blackpool. Rain subsequently interrupted the game which ended in a draw.
On the first day of the game, Walters made 94 from 150 balls and struck a dozen fours, whilst Sam Davies - the son of former Glamorgan wicket-keeper Kim Davies - gave good support with 74. Wicket-keeper Gary Knight also chipped in with 31, before on the second morning Kieran Bull struck an unbeaten 37 as Glamorgan ended on 306.
Lancashire then replied with 203/3 before rain halted play for the day midway through the 48th over with the home side on 203/3. There were two wickets for Mike Reed as he continued his recovery from a hip injury whilst Luis Reece was unbeaten on 77 when the weather brought an early finish at Stanley Park.
Day Three saw Lancashire progress to 337 with Reece ended on 143 whilst Reed took 4/89 and Dewi Penrhyn Jones 3/25. In eleven overs before the close Glamorgan made 40/0 in their second innings as the game ended in a draw.
