Glamorgan beat Derbyshire - and the weather - in the Second Eleven Trophy

Glamorgan 2nd XI beat Derbyshire 2nd XI by nine wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis Method in their rain-affected Second Eleven Trophy match at Derby.

After being put in to bat, Derbyshire posted 174/5 in 35 overs with opener Billy Godleman top-scoring with 75. For Glamorgan Dominic Reid - the younger brother of Mike - claimed 2/17 from seven economical overs.

Following further interruption from the weather, Glamorgan were set a revised target of 116 which they duly reached for the loss of captain Stewart Walters, with Tom Lancefield making 53* and David Lloyd 34*.
