After the record-breaking performances last Friday night at Worcester, Glamorgan's opening home game in the Friends Life t20 sees the Warwickshire Bears visit the SWALEC Stadium tonight, (scheduled start 6.30pm).

The Welsh county completed home and away T20 victories over the Bears last summer, so Marcus North and his side will be looking to maintain their momentum in this year's competition by making it three wins in a row with back to back contests against the Bears this week.

Gates open at 5pm for the Sky Sports televised fixture, the only definite televised game in Glamorgan's campaign this year, as S4C will not broadcast any matches this season.

Twenty20 is all about the action- big hits, impressive catches and spectacular run-outs. Spectators are encouraged to dress up in fancy dress to add the party atmosphere. There will be various competitions and off field activities held at each match to add to the thrill of the evening, including a chance to win tickets to the sell-out finals day if you catch a six in the crowd!

Tickets are selling fast for the Twenty20 games, particularly for the Friday night matches against Somerset and Northants in the coming weeks.

"The recent ICC Champions Trophy matches in Cardiff coupled with Glamorgan's much improved performances in one-day cricket this season and the promise of some warm weather this July, have certainly driven interest in our Twenty20 games, said Simon White, Glamorgan Commercial Director.

"Its vital for us that supporters commit to attending these Twenty20 matches, so at the start of the season we decided to incentivise supporters to purchase their T20 tickets in advance by offering significant discounts ahead of match days and we've been delighted with the positive response."

Glamorgan Captain Marcus North said, "I have played in a lot of Twenty20 campaigns all around the world, if you can get a good start, momentum is an over-used word, but if you can get a roll on in a compact Twenty20 competition it breeds confidence and then with a few wins under your belt, then the little half chances tend to go your way. It's important we set our standards high, we did that well against Worcester, a proven competitive t20 side over the years, and another test comes against Warwickshire, a very organised outfit.

"We have confidence after our win and our preparations have been second to none, we have to prepare well and be detailed and take every opportunity we get. We've had prep time before each game so far, which you don't normally get in a County season because of the scheduling and the guys have made the most of that, we couldn't be better prepared."
