Following Glamorgan's disappointing end to their Friends Life T20 campaign, Matthew Mott spoke to the media.

Head of Elite Performance Matthew Mott said, "We thought 140 was a good score as we came into the break and we had confidence it would be enough.

"Jim Allenby provided the spine of that stance.

"We thought if we could bowl and field well and take wickets in that first six then we would have a chance.

"We always knew Klinger was a dangerman and he did it again and we did not have our best night with the bat or the ball. It is a very disappointing end to the tournament.

"We got off to a flier and whether or not we felt the pressure of being out in front you will have to ask the players. "But from our point of view we just felt we had to keep winning games. We were never able to get back on the roll and you could see in the results.

"We prepared well for the last two matches and it was disappointing we could not get over that line.

"We can salvage plenty out of the YB40 competition, it's been a bit of disjointed season for the YB40, but now we will switch a lot of focus towards that. Our one-day cricket this year has been quite good and there were some tight margins in the losses, but we want to win every game we play in the YB40, and we feel we have a pretty good squad to compete in that competition as well.

"It's going to take a lot of good wins to get us there, but now that's a big part of our focus with only two competitions left."

"Lessons like this today, when we didn't take our opportunity, hopefully that makes us stronger in future and next time we get in that situation."
