It's all about Twenty20 this July and excitement is building at the SWALEC Stadium as Glamorgan get set to play their first home match in the competition here this Wednesday, 3rd July, 6.30pm start.
Supporters can expect the usual thrills and spills of a T20 match plus a whole lot more, with the off field action filled with competitions, music and a party-like atmosphere guaranteed at all games.
There will also be a freestyle fancy dress competition running at all matches with spot prizes and although there is no official theme this year fans are encouraged to "Glam it up". Anything goes when it comes to fancy dress, so be as inventive and wild as you like - there will be prizes awarded to those with the best costumes!
Owen Burgess, Glamorgan Commercial Executive said, "The T20 season is here and this year it's going to be bigger and bolder than ever"
"We have plenty of competitions planned and great prizes up for grabs. The Club has invested in a big screen this year so it will be here for all games not just the TV matches, we want to maximise crowd interaction, so we'll make sure we get the party started."
"We would encourage fans to get in the T20 spirit and come along in fancy dress. There is no limit to what you can dress up as, which allows it to be more fun and creative"
The SWALEC Stadium will host five T20 matches in total which will be full of unmissable action:
Wednesday 3rd July - Glamorgan vs. Warwickshire
Friday 12th July - Glamorgan vs. Somerset
Tuesday 23rd July - Glamorgan vs. Worcestershrie
Friday 26th July - Glamorgan vs. Northamptonshire
Tuesday 30th July - Glamorgan vs. Gloucestershire
