Glamorgan visit Bristol for their next LV=County Championship match against Gloucestershire with the four-day contest scheduled to get underway at 11am on Wednesday, June 5th.
Both teams will be hoping for better weather than in 2012 at the Nevil Road ground when all four days were washed out with the contest being abandoned without a single ball being bowled. The weather gods were smiling though for the return match at Swansea, with Glamorgan winning an enthralling contest by 26 runs.
Gloucestershire were victorious when the two teams met at Bristol in 2011, but this win was their first at their headquarters against the Welsh county since 2001 and abruptly ended Glamorgan's quite decent record in recent years in Championship cricket at the Nevil Road ground. Indeed, they comprehensively beat Gloucestershire by 322 runs in 2005 and again by 114 runs in 2008, whilst the contests in 2007 and 2009 were both drawn.
