Glamorgan welcome the Unicorns to the SWALEC Stadium on Sunday, May 12th for their next match in the Yorkshire Bank40, with the contest at the Cardiff ground scheduled to start at 1.45pm.
The Welsh county are currently on top of their Group after the back-to-back victories at Colwyn Bay and Lord's, so victory over the Unicorns would see Glamorgan remain unbeaten after the first three games for the fourth time in their history and emulating what the team of 1980, 2003 and 2004 previously achieved.
For their part the Unicorns - who are drawn from the cream of talent not currently contracted to a first-class county - have yet to win a game in 2013 having lost to Somerset at Taunton and to Gloucestershire at Wormsley. In the latter game on Monday, former Glamorgan cricketer Mike O'Shea was the Unicorns top scorer whilst Aneurin Norman, another Glamorgan old boy, opened the bowling. Both are expected to feature in the side which meets Glamorgan on Sunday.
Glamorgan have never beaten the Unicorns in a List A encounter, having lost at Bournemouth in 2010 and again at Wormsley in 2011, with their other two contests at the SWALEC Stadium each being washed out.
