Rain washed out Glamorgan's match in the Yorkshire Bank40 against the Unicorns at the SWALEC Stadium.
Precipitation started to fall around 12noon, and with no let-up an hour or so later the umpires - Peter Willey and Nick Cook - decided to delay the start. However, the rain intensified in mid-afternoon and the game was abandoned at 4.30pm.
The Welsh county will be hoping for fine weather next Sunday afternoon in the Welsh capital when they meet Gloucestershire in their next contest in the Yorkshire Bank40. The match is scheduled to commence at 1.45pm and will double-up as a Family Fun Day so there will be plenty of fun activities for spectators of all ages.
