Glamorgan will host cricket in North Wales and in Swansea again in 2014, in partnership with the respective Councils and the St Helen's Balconiers.
Glamorgan will return to the Rhos-on-Sea ground for the four-day match in the LV= County Championship against Surrey on 6th July, with the two teams meeting each other in South London in a NatWest T20 Blast contest on Friday 11th July.
The fixtures at St. Helen's during the school summer holidays will see the visit of Warwickshire Bears on Thursday 14th August for The Royal London One-Day Cup 50-over contest, which replaces the Yorkshire Bank 40 competition, followed the next day by the start of a four-day game against Essex in the LV=County Championship.
Acting Chief Executive Simon White said, "We are delighted to host six out of seven T20 Blast fixtures on a Friday night in 2014 however, it is unfortunate that arranging festival cricket at out grounds has become even more challenging within the new schedule.
"Supporters in North Wales can look forward to cheering on the best cricketers in Wales against the South Africa captain Graeme Smith and his Surrey teammates, whilst there are scheduled to be five days of top quality cricket for supporters in Swansea and West Wales to enjoy once more.
"We would like to thank the Conwy Borough Council and Swansea City Council along with the St. Helen's Balconiers for their continued support and understanding in helping to bring first-class cricket to their localities."
Next year's fixtures will be the first to be played under the new schedule which will run until 2017 and has been introduced based on the recommendations of the Morgan Review into the domestic game and extensive customer feedback from more than 25,000 county cricket fans.
