Michael Hogan claimed his 100th wicket in all forms of cricket this summer for Glamorgan in the Welsh county's final fixture of the season against Gloucestershire in their LV=County Championship encounter at the SWALEC Stadium.
The Australian entered the last round of games with 99 wickets to his name in both four-day and one-day matches during the course of the season and he reached the milestone of 100 wickets when he bowled Gareth Roderick with the first ball of his fourth over on the opening day of the match against Gloucestershire at the Cardiff ground.
Hogan is the first Glamorgan bowler to take over 100 wickets for the Welsh county in all cricket in a season since Michael Kasprowicz claimed 105 wickets in 2003 - a summer that saw the fellow Australian claim 77 wickets in first-class cricket, 24 in List A one-day matches plus 4 in the Twenty20 competition.
The highest seasonal tally in recent times was Steve Watkin's haul of 117 wickets during the summer of 1993 with the seamer taking 86 first-class scalps, plus 31 wickets in List A one-day matches. Steve also claimed 110 wickets in 1989 and again in the 1995 season.
