Michael Hogan's 4-34 against Somerset was enough to install him as the top bowler in county cricket so far this season, according to the FTI Most Valuable Player rankings.
The Australian took the wickets of openers Marcus Trescothick and Craig Kieswetter, before returning to snare Nick Compton and Adam Dibble.
His match haul of 21.37 points took him almost six points above Durham's Graham Onions in the bowling statistics, ensuring he now has 228.07 points.
Hogan has 15 wickets in the YB40 to date and will be hoping for another strong performance against Middlesex as Glamorgan push for a quarter final spot.
He also took eight wickets in the county's Friends Life t20 campaign and is two wickets short of claiming 50 in the LV= County Championship.
The FTI MVPs, which features a £10,000 purse for the cricketer who scoops the top prize at the end of the season, award points for every run scored, wicket taken and catch held.
Bowlers receive higher marks for good economy rates, bowling maidens and for dismissing the top order, whilst batsmen are rewarded for high run rates and the percentage of the team's runs they hit.
There are now more points across all formats for those notching 40 and 50 per cent of a team's total, for top order batsmen, in recognition of their greater challenge against the new ball, and for those who hit big hundreds.
Hogan sits 12th in the overall FTI MVP rankings, when batting and bowling are also taken into account, five places behind his SWALEC stadium team-mate Jim Allenby.
