Glamorgan meet the South Wales Premier League in a Twenty20 warm-up match at the SWALEC Stadium on Tuesday, June 25th with the contest under the Cardiff floodlights scheduled to start at 6.30pm.
Glamorgan defeated the cream of talent from the Premier League last summer at Cardiff CC as they began their preparations for what turned out to be a frustrating campaign in the Friends Life t20 with the unseasonal weather washing out over half of their playing time in the all-action competition.
With new signing Nathan McCullum scheduled to link up with the Welsh county on Friday prior to the opening game of the 2013 competition at New Road in Worcester, the warm-up game at Cardiff will give the rest of the Glamorgan squad some invaluable practice against the stars from the League who will be captained again by former Glamorgan opening batsman Alun Evans. Richard Grant, another Glamorgan old boy, also features in the League team alongside promising left-arm seamer Jon Denning from Cardiff MCCU who plays for Pontarddulais C.C.
