After the record-breaking performances on Friday night at Worcester, Glamorgan's opening home game in the Friends Life t20 sees the Warwickshire Bears visit the SWALEC Stadium on Wednesday, July 3rd for a contest which is scheduled to start at 6.30pm (Gates open - 5pm).

Match Preview

The Welsh county completed home and away victories over the Bears last summer, so Marcus North and his side will be looking to maintain their momentum in this year's competition by making it three wins in a row against the Bears.

Last summer's victory over the Bears under the Cardiff floodlights was also the first time since the quarter-final encounter at the Sophia Gardens ground back in July 2004 that Glamorgan had recorded a win against the Birmingham-based team at home in 20 overs cricket. Since that stirring five-wicket victory nine summers ago, two Twenty20 games at the SWALEC Stadium had been washed out, whilst the Bears had been victorious on their visits to the Welsh capital in 2007 by nine runs and again in 2009 by six wickets.

Team News

Glamorgan have named an unchanged 14-man squad for the match against the Warwickshire Bears at Cardiff with the same group of players on duty once again for the Welsh county after their 58-run victory under the Duckworth-Lewis Method on Friday night against Worcestershire. The squad in full is - J Allenby, MA Wallace (wkt), CB Cooke, MJ North (capt), MW Goodwin, BJ Wright, SJ Walters, NL McCullum, NA James, DA Cosker, MG Hogan, WT Owen, GG Wagg and AJ Jones.
