Graham Wagg is the early leader in the FTI Most Valuable Player rankings for T20 cricket after his impressive 5-14 helped Glamorgan to a comprehensive victory on the opening night of fixtures.
The all-rounder dismissed Worcestershire's top three batsmen in a four ball burst, before returning to take another two of the home side's middle order in his three overs.
His performance earned him almost 29 ranking points and took him above Surrey's Zander de Bruyn, who has played an extra game.
Team-mate Chris Cooke is seventh in the table after hitting 57 runs off 27 balls and taking two catches, as Glamorgan wrapped up a comfortable 58 run win under Duckworth Lewis rules.
Both men will be hoping for more of the same on Wednesday night as they take on Wagg's old county, Warwickshire, at the SWALEC Stadium.
The FTI MVPs, which feature a £10,000 purse for the cricketer who scoops the top prize at the end of the season, award points for every run scored, wicket taken and catch held.
Bowlers receive higher marks for good economy rates, bowling maidens and for dismissing the top order, whilst dot balls are also more valuable in FLT20 games this year.
Batsmen are rewarded for high run rates and the percentage of the team's runs they hit and there are more points for those notching 40 and 50 per cent of a team's total.
