The Twenty20 season gets underway at New Road on Friday, June 28th as Glamorgan meet the Worcestershire Royals in their opening contest in the Friends Life t20 tournament, starting at 5.30pm at the New Road ground.

Glamorgan have won two out of their previous six Twenty20 matches at New Road, including their inaugural game in July 2004 by twenty runs, and again in June 2008 by six wickets thanks to quick-fire innings by Jamie Dalrymple who struck 38 off 24 balls, as well as Mark Wallace who blasted 26 from just 10 deliveries to see the Welsh county to their target with seven balls remaining.

As the list of match results below shows, Worcestershire were victorious last summer, as well as in 2005 and 2009 in the other t20 matches at the New Road ground:

Nathan McCullum is set to make his Glamorgan debut after being named in a 14-man squad for the Friends Life t20 match against the Worcestershire Royals. The Glamorgan squad in full is - J Allenby, MA Wallace (wkt), CB Cooke, MJ North (capt), MW Goodwin, BJ Wright, SJ Walters, NL McCullum, NA James, DA Cosker, MG Hogan, WT Owen, GG Wagg and AJ Jones.
