Glamorgan Membership is now available to buy for season 2014, with annual membership giving supporters the chance to see every day of regular season domestic home matches for just £139.
Full Annual Membership includes access to all 8 LV=County Championship home matches, four home games in the new 50-over competition and 7 domestic T20 fixtures. Other packages available include Premier Membership, Country Membership, Young Buds Junior Membership and Club Cricket Player membership.
Given the increased number of domestic T20 fixtures and their popularity particularly on Friday nights during 2013, the Club is planning to launch a T20 season ticket product before Christmas, so One-Day membership prices will be released at the same time as this new T20 offering.
Glamorgan will again play cricket at Swansea and Colwyn Bay during 2014, as well as at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.
The new look fixture list for 2014 is due to be released in mid-November, with more regular start times for fixtures during the season.
Following the positive end to the season with the trip to Lord's for the showpiece Yorkshire Bank 40 final, season 2014 holds great hope for further improved performances from the team, what's more Glamorgan is pleased to confirm:
- New long term contract deals for Jim Allenby, Michael Hogan and Mark Wallace
- New contracts will also be confirmed with more homegrown players in the coming days/weeks
- Hugh Morris is returning as Chief Executive and Director of Cricket
- Jacques Rudolph is the overseas player for 2014 and 2015
- A New Head Coach will be announced imminently.

Membership 2014 FAQs
I was a member in 2013, but have not received anything in the post others have, where is my application form?
You should find your membership application form, in the centrefold of the Glamorgan Magazine which has Jim Allenby on the front cover. If you have not received anything please call 02920 419 380 and we will issue a pack to you asap. The early bird deadline expires 30th November so you will not miss out.
Alternatively you can purchase online at www.glamorgancricket.com from Monday 21st October.
Why have membership prices increased?
Full details are outlined in the letter from the Chairman, but in short:
- Glamorgan needs to raise additional revenue to compete with other counties
- Glamorgan memberships are the cheapest in the country and even with the price rise they are still probably the 2nd or 3rd cheapest out of 18 counties. Glamorgan CCC intends to phase in price increases over the next 3 years to become on a par with others
Why is it members have to pay more?
- Membership is just one source that the club will be looking to increase revenue from. All areas of the business are being looked at
- The cheap membership prices were intended to grow how many members we have and this has not been successful
- Performances have improved - Glamorgan reached the final of YB40 tournament and last year we notified members that prices would change as performances improved
- Membership provides excellent value, with 43 days of cricket included, at least 33 in Cardiff. If you were to attend 25 days play in a season the equivalent ticket price is £5.56 compared to £12 if purchased individually.
When does early bird expire?
Early bird discount will expire on 30th November, so make sure you respond before then to get the discount (£40 saving on annual membership)
Why can't I renew my one-day membership?
- The longest form of limited overs cricket is becoming a 50 over competition next year and the number of T20 and one-day games is changing. There will be 7 T20 games mainly on Friday nights and 4 home 50-over games
- It is our intention to launch a T20 season ticket package before Christmas. This may appeal to some supporters over the one-day membership.
- One-day membership will also be available when the T20 season ticket is launched
Will I get a discount if I buy international cricket tickets?
England will play India in an ODI in Cardiff on 27 August 2014 (day game - start time TBC but likely 10.15 or 10.30am). There is a discount off £10 off your membership if you have purchased England v India ODI 2014 tickets (this discount can be reversed and save you £10 off your ODI ticket if you wish to purchase membership first). Simply deduct the amount to be paid and mark your membership to say you have purchased the ODI ticket.
I have a wife/husband and both of us wish to join, is there a discount?

What if I want to introduce a friend?
If you recommend membership to someone who was not a member in 2013 you can get up to £40 off your membership for 2014.

Only one discount will be applied if you introduce a friend and purchase international cricket. The greater discount will be applied.
How does the guaranteed Ashes ticket right to buy work?

Further details will be communicated in the New Year
When will membership cards be sent out?
Cards are likely to arrive during February 2014
When are the fixtures due to be released?
We anticipate fixtures will be publically available from mid/end November. In 2014 Glamorgan will play 8 home LV county Championship matches, and within the regular season 7 home domestic T20 games and 4 home 50-over matches.
I have lost my card from this year, do I need a new one?
All members for season 2014 will be issued with new cards, so don't worry if your old one is lost.
Are the Club playing at Swansea and Colwyn Bay again in 2014?
Glamorgan will return to play at Swansea and Colwyn Bay in 2014, but more details will be confirmed when the fixtures are released in November
Is Premier Membership different this year?
Premier Members will have access to the Premier Lounge, top floor of NCC in 2014 rather than the Morgan Cole as per last year.
The club is looking to extend the pitch view within the room and is also exploring options for creating additional pitch viewing area for members. No time scale on this to be confirmed.
Premier Members will have access to the Premier Lounge for all home domestic cricket and will continue to have complimentary tea, coffee, scorecards in this room
